The city of Trollhättan. It's located 75 km north of Sweden's second-largest city Gothenburg.

Relocation/moving to Sweden:

Meriting competencies:

- Experience ( 5 years) within SW development/test in embedded systems
- Python development
- Test automation using Python
- Git
- Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins or equivalent
- Working experience of Embedded Linux preferably in a switch or router
- Exposure to Linux networking
- Some exposure to C development
- Fluent in English

Your profile should include the following:

- Work experience of customizing a Linux distro using Yocto
- Hands-on experience with packages; recipes, and image generation in Yocto
- Strong interest in Raspberry Pi, either hobby or work experience
- C/C++ development on an embedded Linux system in userspace.
- QT framework
- Experience writing unit tests for C/C++ code
- some exposure to static and dynamic code analysis
- Strong interest in The Internet of things (IoT), experience using MQTT
- Some automotive experience is a plus
- Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins or equivalent
- Exposure to Linux networking
- Familiar with the concept of system hardening
- M.Sc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- You should have excellent communication skills
- It is desirable that you have experience from working in agile teams

As you know, thermal management in an electric vehicle (EV) makes it possible to improve battery performance and longevity. You need to have a holistic view of thermal management; when drivers use the climate system to increase the heat in the winter or decrease the temperature in summer, the increased consumption of energy reduces the range of the vehicle significantly. As a thermal engineer, you know that the battery mainly needs to be handled, and electrical components such as inverters and motors also play a crucial part in the equation. This role does not focus on battery management. Instead, it looks at the overall thermal management of the EV.
