We are looking for a talent who wants to become an expert in Quality Assurance.
The position will strengthen our support team of quality engineers within the Quality Staff department.
Your main task will be to lead and deliver proactive support to site within quality investigations,quality assurance, process robustness, quality tools and continuous improvement. The position will be possible to influence based on personal experience and competence.
This includes
- Lead investigations in customer reported quality problems.
- Manage and support problem solving tasks.
- Support in statistical tools/methods for process control and problem solving, including training and coaching.
- Taking active part in Quality Tools Forum.
- You will work closely together with the entire organization and its different product areas, management, process leaders and employees. In this position, you will also be involved in external Aerospace industry cooperation, customer audits and coordinating issues internally related to systems and robustness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in quality improvement activities, internal and within the Aerospace industry.
- Perform initial quality investigations to assess probable cause.
- Establish problem definition, root cause analysis, customer protection and corrective and preventative action.
- Facilitate the use of 8 Disciplines (8D).
- Act as subject matter expert for quality and quality system requirements.
- Develop statistical tools/methods for process robustness.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- You have a technical education in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Engineering, and data management is required.
- Act as subject matter expert for Proactive Quality Tools.
- Experience of problem solving using appropriate quality tools and techniques.
- Practical knowledge and deployment of quality tools and techniques (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA,SPC, 7+7, etc.).
- Relevant and practical working experience within Aerospace is rewarding.
- You are a team player with the ability to deliver results on time, always with a quality and business mindset.
- Further, we believe that you are analytical, holistic and well structured as a person and possess communication skills (written and verbal) in both Swedish and English.
- An open attitude, qualities such as integrity, communication and networking skills, together with ability to take initiative and co-operate are highly appreciated.
