Tjänstebeskrivning
Avdelningen Instrumentering och komponentprovning söker nu en designingenjör inom Instrumentering. På vår avdelning jobbar vi med utvecklingsprovning och ansvarar för hela mätkedjan från sensor via instrumentelektronik till datainsamling och mätdataanalys.

Som designingenjör inom instrumentering jobbar man design av mätutrustning som används för instrumentering av utvecklingshårdvaror eller prototypdemonstratorer som ska gå i test. Det kan röra sig om komponentprov eller fullskaliga motortester. Det som förekommer mest är mätutrustning inom tryck, temperatur, vibration och töjning. Man ansvarar för design av mätsonder, ledningsdragning, genomföringar, adaptrar, kopplingsplintar och liknande.

Huvudsakliga Arbetsuppgifter
- Design och konstruktion av mät- och riggutrustning
- Framtagning av definitionsunderlag för tillverkning
- Medverka i offertframtagning för nya instrumenteringsuppdrag
- Medverka i granskningar av definitionsunderlag
- Framtagning av modeller för prototypframställning
- Arbeta i tvärfunktionella team

Kvalifikationer
- Relevant teknisk utbildning, gärna på M.Sc. nivå
- Dokumenterad omfattande erfarenhet av design och konstruktion
- Egen drivförmåga
- Rak och tydlig kommunikation
- Flytande svenska och engelska i tal och skrift
- Goda kunskaper inom Microsoft Office

Meriterande kvalifikationer
- Erfarenhet av jobb med elektrisk integration
- Erfarenhet av Siemens NX
- Kunskaper inom mätteknik

Design engineers within Automotive Chassis systems. Main subsystems: Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tires, Steering and Powertrain mounts.
We are seeking a number of committed and competent engineers with at least 5 years’ experience in vehicle development within chassis systems or with equivalent work experience. Either you are a Design Engineer or a Project Engineer to your current profile.
Areas of responsibility/roles where we are looking for support to reinforce our current Chassis team with this inquiry:
• Suspension - Subframe, control arms, links, shock absorbers, springs, bushings.
• Brakes - Foundation and actuation, controls, pipes, parking brake, pedal box
• Wheels & tires - Rims, tires, jack, repair kit
• Steering - Steering column, steering gear, steering control
• Powertrain mounts - Bushings, driveshaft
As we have assignments for both Swedish and international clients, daily and weekly commuting may occur.


Qualifications
• Master any of the CAD systems like Catia, NX or CREO besides documented experience from working with Automotive Chassis subsystems.
• Accountability for achieving project objectives in each area.
• Rapid development of subsystems with supplier base mostly in EU and China.
• Strategic work, combined with demands and sense of urgency in a changing environment.
• Ability to work x-functional with a holistic view.
• Develop and stimulate your team members to achieve excellent performance.

Job Description


For a technically advanced customer in Trollhättan we are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to their Research Centre. As a Senior Design Engineer you will work with composite design in general and with an emphasis on Aerospace applications. Design and material questions related to future engine component designs will be part of you everyday work. You will lead work packages where you together with university partners will work on research questions regarding composite materials.
Your focus will be on the next generation technologies for compressor and fan structures in composite and metallic materials. This work will be done in internal technology development projects, technology demonstrators and in research project often done in collaboration with partners both from EU and USA. In your role you will:
Select the best combination of materials for different product application
Create designs and composite ply layups using modern design tools
Specify design criteria and tests of composite structures to fulfil the design and manufacturing requirements
Continuously work to avoid problems that might arise during the manufacturing process for the finished product
Make sure that the products comply with national and international legislation and standards
Be cost conscious when deciding upon which materials to be used, both regarding time and money





Qualifications


To succeed in the role we believe you have a master's degree in a relevant field of engineering such as Design or Mechanical Engineering. You have several years of experience from designing composites as a design engineer and have a strong competence profile within composites.
You are comfortable working with CAD, preferably NX, and have no problem in creating 3D Composite design definitions and layups.
You can understand the needs of the research program regarding material selection and design criteria. Your communication skills are excellent and since the customer work in an international environment professional proficiency in English is needed. Swedish is considered meritorious.
You can act as a leader for research in the field of composite design and materials for engine structures.
In the role you will have a wide network of contacts, requiring good social skills and the ability to take on a technical responsibility role.
