Vad vi söker

Vi söker en lyhörd och analytisk person med förmågan att identifiera behov som kan driva processer framåt med fokus på värde och resultat. Du bör vara van vid att kommunicera och presentera för både kunder och kollegor. Att skapa nya relationer är något du trivs med och du delar gärna med dig av dina kunskaper.



Du har ungefär 5 års arbetslivserfarenhet inom utveckling av system och gärna haft en projektledarroll eller liknande. Du bör ha en relevant teknisk högskole- eller civilingejörsexamen inom exempelvis datorvetenskap, elektro eller mekatronik. Du får gärna ha en inriktning mot artificiell intelligens, statistik, numerisk analys eller logik. Uppdragen förutsätter goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i både tal och skrift.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Avdelning ”Riggstöd” på GKN Aerospace består idag av 13 ingenjörer som har till uppgift att koordinera och driva allt arbete med förebyggande och avhjälpande underhåll och förbättringar och utveckling av vår anläggning för apparat- och motorprov. Den största delen av provningen består idag av motor RM12 till Gripen C/D med både underhållsmotorer och utvecklingsmotorer. Vi arbetar även med introduktion av motor RM16 till Gripen E där provningsresursen kommer att byggas upp succesivt under några år.

Vi har flera stora infrastrukturuppdrag framför oss där vi skall både bygga nytt för att ersätta gamla installationer och renovera eller bygga om befintliga system och installationer. Vi söker dig som vill ha ett spännande och varierande jobb med möjlighet att vara med i både nya projekt och vara en del i att förvalta och utveckla GKNs anläggning i Trollhättan.

- Erfarenhet från CAD design av elsystem är meriterande.
- Erfarenhet från PLC system är meriterande.
- Kunna kommunicera formellt på svenska och engelska, både i tal och i skrift.

Who are you?

You have a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics or similar. Good interpersonal skills are required for this role because you will interact with many parts of the T-Engineering organisation. Fluent in English both in writing and speaking is a requirement since the works includes a lot of global contacts. In your role there may be up to 4 business trips per year, 1-2 weeks at the time.

From technical aspects you have good understanding of Realtime workshop code generation and Autosar basic SW – application SW aspects. You have also good understanding of how to convert the logic needs to SW/models etc. Since we use a lot of physics based modelling/algorithm prototyping we would also like you to have experience of Matlab/Simulink, preferably for embedded controls.

Who are you?

You have a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics or similar. Good interpersonal skills are required for this role because you will interact with many parts of the T-Engineering organisation. Fluent in English both in writing and speaking is a requirement since the works includes a lot of global contacts. In your role there may be up to 4 business trips per year, 1-2 weeks at the time.

Beskrivning

Du kommer vara en viktig del i vår organisation som fokuserar på test och simulering av mjukvaru- och styrsystem. Inom detta område arbetar du tillsammans med andra ingenjörer, i team, med att genomföra olika typer av simuleringar, utveckla modeller för och konfigurera olika typer av testmiljöer, samt analysera data t.ex. från mätningar i bilar.

Vi letar efter kreativa och innovativa ingenjörer, som är intresserade av att utveckla befintliga och helt nya metoder för simulering och olika typer av testmiljöer. Tycker du det låter intressant? Då har du möjlighet att bli en del av vår agila organisation där lagarbete, självorganiserade team samt snabbt lärande utvecklingscykler är i fokus. Detta innebär att du behöver vara en bra lagspelare och strävar efter framgång för hela teamet. I rollen ingår bland annat att:

- Identifiera och utred vilken typ av simuleringar och verktyg som ska användas i olika projekt
- Konfigurera och sätta upp simuleringsmiljöer samt olika typer av testmiljöer så som MIL, SIL, HIL eller VIL samt supporta testaktiviteter i dessa typer av testmiljöer
- Utveckla modeller för att simulera de delar av systemet som inte är fysiskt närvarande i aktuell testmiljö
- Utföra simuleringar, analysera resultat, skriva rapporter samt rapportera problem och avvikelser
- Utveckla arbetsprocesser för simulering, framtagning av modeller och konfigurera testmiljöer 

För att klara att arbeta inom området så ser vi att du har:

- Högre universitetsutbildning från datavetenskap, mekatronik eller liknande
- Erfarenhet av att utföra någon form av simuleringar som t.ex. prestanda, räckvidd, energiförbrukning, longitud eller lateral rörelse, klimatsystem, batterisystem eller liknande
- Erfarenhet av Matlab/Simulink, C/Python programmering, Vector Canoe, IPG CarMaker eller något verktyg från National Instruments typ VeriStand/TestStand
- Förmågan att kunna prata och skriva på engelska obehindrat
- Körkort för personbil

The work will span over a great variety of different functionalities and domains based the project needs and priorities, for example system and fault management, over the air software updates, diagnostics, bootloaders, connectivity, user interface and body functionalities. It will range from implementation of device drivers, configuration of basic software to development of fantastic software solutions at the application layer.

Previous experience from embedded software development and continuous integration is highly appreciated.

To achieve this both the amount and the complexity of the software will increase drastically in coming vehicle architectures. NEVS strategy is to develop a lot of this software in-house. 

We are looking for an experienced system architect for the logical design of our next generation vehicles. Your role will be to design and maintain a robust and adaptable system architecture that supports the functionality of the vehicle. Your focus will be on the software architecture on vehicle level, but you will also be involved in defining the electrical architecture. 

We work in an agile organization, where teamwork, empowered self-organizing teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role as Vehicle SW Systems Architect involves:

- Defining architectural requirements and guidelines
- Creating and maintaining the logical design of the functionality of the vehicle
- Supporting design and implementation work on more detailed abstraction layers
- Ensuring the consistency of the complete vehicle logical design over the life-time of the product
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related processes

We are looking for someone who has:

- Experience from developing system and software architecture for complex systems
- Experience from model based systems engineering using SysML
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both spoken and written
- Experience from agile ways-of-working is an advantage

To be successful in this role, you need to:

- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
- Be a team player with ability to plan and prioritize
- Have good communication skills
- Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.

We are now looking for Embedded Software Engineers for development of Vehicle Control Unit!

 

Description

We are looking for innovative embedded software developers that can join the team that develops the software for our Vehicle Control Unit. The Vehicle Control Unit will host the majority of the vehicle level application software. The first tasks for the team includes analysis, design and development of a proof of concept, such that we can learn and adapt our solutions before we go for industrialization. The work will include both software development at application level, as well as configuration and adaptation of the software platform.

Previous experience from embedded software development, hypervisors, real-time operating systems or continuous integration is great.

You will be part of the Chapter Infotainment, HMI and Body Software, which is one of four teams within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions for software platforms, gateways, body control functionalities, remote services and infotainment systems.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

You will be part of the Chapter Controls Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, which is one of four competence areas within the Software Tribe. Our aim is to develop embedded vehicle software solutions for motion control, thermal and climate control, comfort control, energy management, predictive maintenance and self-driving capabilities.

We are now looking for innovative algorithm developers, software developers and controls engineers that can bring our future self-driving capabilities to life and that want to become experts in this field. Previous experience from autonomous vehicle development or active safety in the automotive industry is highly appreciated.

You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.
