Description

The IT department is incorporated in the Operation Management Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department are to provide NEVS with Infrastructure and Systems that makes it possible for NEVS to work in an efficient way. The Department are an agile organization that put a great importance to our employee’s development as well as the ability to work with different external partners.

 

Your role

Your role is to make sure that your team has the right prerequisites for predicting and capturing new technology and implement this into the organization. Due to a changing industry, from the traditional vehicles to a more service-based product plan with mobility solutions, it is important to be open and ready for new technology in order to develop these new services.

Your team is working in Sweden, but there will also be travel and collaboration with colleagues in different parts of China.

Your assignment involves:

- Ensuring delivery on the set goals for the function.
- Build and form the function in a strategic way that is beneficial both in a short and long-term perspective.
- Promote NEVS Leadership values.
- Having the overall responsibility for strategic people management and competence development within the function.
- Establish and maintain budget/forecast.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Applicable experience and knowledge within relevant area/field.
- Experience of Corporate governance and of senior management positions.

Description

As Global Liaison Officer your role will be to support Executive Management in China and Europe Operations to ease communication and alignment of work tasks.

The role will develop during time but initially you will work closely to CEO at NEVS Sweden to learn NEVS business operation and support Executive Managers in operational activities that enhance realization of the Corporate Business Plan. In this work you will be the Cultural bridge in communication and through this role ease for Management expanding the business in Europe. The work task can include Governance issues, Communication issues, Operational issues and Follow up on Reporting and Performance of the organization.

In your role as Liaison Officer you will be placed at NEVS site in Trollhättan Sweden and will travel frequently to European entities.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in Business administration and/or International Language
- Relevant experience of Business Executive support in International business environment
- You master English and Chinese fluently, both spoken and written

Your team is working in Sweden, but there will be collaboration with colleagues in China, and Head Office in China.

In this role you will:

- Be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of media and communication strategies
- Work with strategic planning and develop effective business communication
- Be responsible for regularly developing existing and new communication tools
- Act as a spokesperson for NEVS
- Analyze media coverage, including social media, and propose actions
- Be an important part of an extensive network with colleagues and stakeholders within mobility solutions
- Write and shape relevant and inspiring communication – both for external and internal use
- Lead different communication projects

Description

We need to strengthen our leadership within the SW/Control Systems Test & Simulation Chapter with a Deputy Chapter Leader for SW/Control Systems Test.

The Deputy Chapter Leader role is part of the line organization at NEVS with the task to develop the assigned competence area. The role includes securing needed processes, methods and plans to support NEVS long term strategies for Products and Services.

You will be part of the Software Tribe, which in total contains five Chapters. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future. Previous experience from work with test coordination, SW test strategies, development of test environments and testing of embedded software is an advantage.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with verification and validation experience of software systems as Infotainment, Connectivity, Vehicle Body systems on Autosar or Linux platforms. As a Traffic Simulation Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together perform different type of simulations as for example how autonomous vehicles are used in city traffic, how different mobility solutions impact usage of vehicles and how functions and systems are used in the vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer that is interested in develop our current as well as new type of simulations and simulation environments. - Build up and develop environment for traffic simulations

Description

We are recruiting a Chapter leader for UI/UX and Attributes to our leadership team in the Mobility Design Tribe. Chapter Leader is a line role at NEVS with the task to develop the assigned competence area. The role includes securing needed processes, methods and plans to support NEVS long term strategies for Products and Services.

You will be part of the Mobility Design Tribe which today in total contains three Chapters, Mobility Design, Connected Mobility and UI/UX and Attributes. Our responsibility is to guide the design with a user centric view on attributes and solutions. The UI/UX and Attribute team is a growing team working with UI/UX as well as the Attributes that are partly distributed in the engineering organization. We are working with hardware, digital interface and services to support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future. Previous experience from working with attributes and complete product requirements and validation and/or UI/UX is appreciated.

We are an agile organization, where trust, team work, knowledge sharing, collective intelligence and empowered self-organizing teams is a key to success. We need to strengthen our leadership within the SW/Control Systems Test & Simulation Chapter with a Deputy Chapter Leader for SW/Control Systems Test.

The Deputy Chapter Leader role is part of the line organization at NEVS with the task to develop the assigned competence area. The role includes securing needed processes, methods and plans to support NEVS long term strategies for Products and Services.

You will be part of the Software Tribe, which in total contains five Chapters. Our aim is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future. Previous experience from work with test coordination, SW test strategies, development of test environments and testing of embedded software is an advantage.

Your team is working in Sweden, but there will also be some collaboration with colleagues in different parts of China.

  Description

The Process Engineering department is incorporated within the Production Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department is to deliver new and rebuilt Body In White processes and tools to the body shop in Trollhättan for NEVS and OEM customers. The department also serves the NEVS factories in China with expertise within the body in white build process.

As an Process Engineer you will participate from early car project phase until hand over to the running production team. There are possibilities to climb to new positions within the organization as the team will groove.

The role will have extensive contacts both with many other departments within the company as external suppliers.

The role involves:

- Act as project leader for the follow up activities of new process equipment from external suppliers
- To lead industrialization activities for new and rebuilt Body In White lines from RFQ to the hand over phase to production
- Investigation of consequences for the process equipment due to product changes. Give feedback to Product Engineering department.
- Lead different type of Body In White process investigations including cost calculations, HC calculations etc.
- Industrial engineering tasks and continuous improvement tasks during start up and running production
- Follow the research and implementing of new joining technologies, light weight material and other areas essential for a modern Body In White production.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

The EE HW Engineering Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the Hardware Engineering Tribe. The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for Hardware Competence & Technology, while building a great place to work. The responsibilities of the EE HW Engineering Chapter lies within the areas of Physical Electrical Architecture, EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems), Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage.

Work Tasks

As an Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Electrical Interface Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data management tool, the general requirements and methodology for electrical interface data. You will also develop and streamline the processes and work across NEVS Engineering, and implementation of the work towards vehicle program/projects and development process tool (NMSP). In the role you will work very close to NEVS component owners, component suppliers and EDS-team. You will educate the NEVS Engineering organization of the Electrical interface to get the awareness and attention.

You will also:

- Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system and component level.
- Be part of planning and scheduling of key events and activities according to overall program/project timing.
- Lead meetings and summarize the status according to program/project’s needs.
- Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying Your General Requirements in System and component specifications. The requirements are collected into interface control document (ICD).
- Support problem Root-causing and Resolution from an Electrical interface perspective.
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks.

 

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- EDS design engineering experience with focus on electrical interface within automotive domain, 5 years’ experience is desired.
- Experience from process development is desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

You will be a part of different squads that early in the project phase will work with requirement settings.

The role involves:

- Responsible for relevant target setting on complete product level in own area
- Develop test methods to secure target fulfillment
- Test leader during ongoing complete product tests in different test sites
- Analyze and report test result
- Working close together with others to develop and balance requirements.
- Lead and develop the Reliability / Durability area

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 2 years technical experience in reliability/quality discipline in a new product development environment with electro-mechanical devices
- Master's degree in Reliability Engineering or Quality
- Weibull Analysis Software Knowledge a plus. Reliasoft ++ desirable

Work Tasks

As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS General Requirements for functional safety, and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers. The role includes actively following development of legislation globally, and most likely participation in workgroups in the field of functional safety. You will be monitoring and reviewing NEVS internal test planning, and as a functional safety engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the organization with assessing the development from an electrical hardware perspective. You are expected to follow-up and report progress. You will use your knowledge and new findings continuously to develop and refine NEVS General Requirements in the field of functional safety. You will direct and address the functional safety view in all stages of development.

You will also:

- Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system and component level.
- Monitor NEVS internal development of electronics and electrical systems from a functional safety point of view.
- Support the development, validation and verification methodologies and procedures.
- Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying Your General Requirements in System and component specifications.
- Support development of fail-safe and fail-operational systems for AD level 2 and up. (Autonomous drive)
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans and technical proposals.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks.

 

Education and Experience:

- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics.
- Application knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain.
- Engineering experience from working in the Functional safety, ISO 26262 and more (design & methodology), minimum 5 years.

We need to broaden our team with software engineers that has high focus on the achievement of functional safety and the implementation of the safety critical parts of our software. The work will mainly be focused on analysis, design and development of the safety critical software and safety mechanisms related to Vehicle Motion Control. It will include configuration of real-time operating system, micro-controller abstraction layer and software platform.

There will be great possibilities to influence the software architectural design to ensure that the complete embedded software meets the requirements.

Previous experience from embedded software development, development of safety critical software, real-time operating systems or Autosar is highly appreciated.

The responsibilities of the EE HW Engineering Chapter lies within the areas of Physical Electrical Architecture, EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems), Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage.

Work Tasks

As a Physical E/E Architecture Power Distributions Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS General Requirements for solid-state technology and Power moding strategy and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers. The role includes actively following development of technologies in this field of competence. You will be monitoring NEVS internal test planning and review test results, you will also be responsible for creating power modes strategies in different automotive architectures. You will use your knowledge and new findings continuously to develop and refine NEVS General Requirements regarding power distributed systems.

You will also:

- Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system and component level.
- Monitor NEVS internal test planning and review test results.
- Develop new power distributions systems including SSD-technologies, (Solid State Devices) and smart fusing. This includes good understanding of software development.
- Support Engineers across the NEVS organization in applying Your General Requirements in System and component specifications.
- Support problem Root-causing and Resolution from a Power moding or power distribution perspective.
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks.

 

Education and Experience:

- Master’s degree, (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics. 7 years of experience is desired.
- Application knowledge of electronic design considerations in the automotive domain.
- Engineering experience with software development for Smart Fusing/SSD control.
- Experience from hands on Electronics design (PCB, Electronics circuit design, component design & selection) is desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

Work Tasks

As an Electrical Distribution System (EDS) WH Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS General Requirements for EDS-area and thus ensuring that NEVS products will meet the standards required by NEVS customers. The role includes turning vehicle technical requirements that engineering needs to design, develop and validate a sub-system/component. The role includes actively following development of standards globally. You will be responsible for aligning the development rules and guidelines according to the maturity of the technical progress within your field of work. You will be monitoring NEVS internal test planning and review test results. You will use your knowledge and new findings continuously to develop and refine NEVS Requirements regarding EDS.

You will also:

- Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system and component level.
- Be part of EDS-team for develop of EDS, from first sketch until production of wiring harness according to program/project request.
- Support problem Root-causing and Resolution from an EDS perspective.
- Be part of validation and verification activities and support RFQ/RFI´s.
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks.

 

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- EDS design engineering experience, concerning both low voltage and high voltage, 5 years of experience is desired.
- Experience from requirements definition/creation/collection for EDS within the automotive domain is desired.
- Experience from EDS validation actives is desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

The role includes actively following development of battery cells technology. You will be responsible for setting up system solutions for the battery and energy usage. You will use your knowledge and new findings continuously to develop and refine NEVS Requirements in the field of battery cells technology.

 

You will also:

- Support concept selection at vehicle architecture, system and component level
- Monitor NEVS internal test planning and review test results
- Support the development and maintenance of validation and verification methodologies and procedures
- Support problem Root-causing and Resolution from a battery/energy perspective
- Evaluate the feasibility of development plans, technical proposals and product offerings
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks

 

Education and Experience:

- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics
- Application knowledge of battery/RESS design considerations in the automotive domain
- Engineering experience from working in the battery cells/RESS field minimum 5 years
- Experience from hands on RESS design (Battery, Electric circuit design, component design & selection) is desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable

Kvalifikationer

Vi söker Dig som har:

- Gymnasieutbildning med inriktning industriell tillverkning
- Minst 5 års erfarenhet av CNC- bearbetning
- Tidigare erfarenheter av Cam-beredning NX är meriterande
- Truckkort samt erfarenhet av tunga lyft med travers är meriterande

 

För att bli framgångsrik i denna roll behöver Du:

- Goda kunskaper i ritningsläsning

Description

The Body & Interior Engineering Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the Hardware Engineering Tribe. Within the Chapter we are responsible for Body-, Closures-, Exterior- and Interior development. The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for Hardware Competence & Technology, while building a great place to work.

The Seating systems will become a vital function in future products that will require new ideas and concepts considering Comfort, Convenience and Safety.

As Seat System Engineer, you will be responsible for concept studies/selections at vehicle architecture, system and component level. Establish and improve technical product specifications and assist in developing tests methods for seat attributes as strength, appearance, durability and NVH.

Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with seating suppliers to evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products to ensure the most cost-effective solution that meet projects performance & reliability targets.

 

We work in an agile organisation, where teamwork, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus, you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

  

The role involves:

- Leading the development of Seat Systems thorough theoretical and practical knowledge.
- System integration into vehicle

We are looking for candidates who have:

- Bachelor of Science or higher university degree or equal work experience, min 10 years
- Extensive knowledge for multiple components, attributes and system processes within Seats
- Very good understanding in all phases of the development of Seat Systems
- Knowledge of materials used in Seat Systems such as Steel, Composites, Plastics, PUR Foam, Surface materials, Wire Harness, Electrical switches and Comfort systems
- A practical hands-on approach

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a Control System Test Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together develop MIL, SIL, HIL, sub-system and system test environments, develop and perform manual and automated tests in these environments as well in vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience of verification and validation of control systems for Vehicle Motion, ADAS/AD, Thermal or Battery systems. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful. 

We will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!



 

The role involves:

- Define and investigate what test environments to use to verify different control systems
- Configure and set up test rigs, MIL, SIL, Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
- Develop test methods and test cases, including framework for test automation
- Execute test cases, analyze results and write test reports & issue reports
- Develop work processes and structures for test in test rigs and MIL/SIL/HIL environments



 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Systems Control and Mechatronics or similar
- Experience of control system testing in different type of test environments as for example MIL, SIL, OL/CL HIL, sub-system and system test environments
- Experience of Machine learning, Autosar, Ethernet, Functional Safety (ISO 2262)
- Experience of Matlab/Simulink, C/Python, Canoe, IPG CarMaker, NI TestStand or NI VeriStand
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a Traffic Simulation Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together perform different type of simulations as for example how autonomous vehicles are used in city traffic, how different mobility solutions impact usage of vehicles, how functions and systems are used in the vehicles. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer that are interested in develop our current as well as new type of simulations and simulation environments. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

- Build up and develop environment for traffic simulations
- Perform simulation of city traffic to evaluate mobility solutions, usage of autonomous vehicles, and how different functions work in the vehicles
- Develop environment to combine traffic simulations with different vehicle simulations of performance, range, energy consumption, longitudinal/lateral movement or similar
- Support development of simulations environments and plant models for MIL, SIL and HIL environments
- Analyze results, write reports and report issue and deviations
- Develop work processes for develop and perform simulations and simulation environments

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Mathematics and Computational Science, Computer Science - algorithms, languages and logic, Systems Control and Mechatronics, Complex Adaptive Systems or similar

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of four competence teams within the SW Tribe. As a SW Test System Architect you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers that together develop MIL, SIL, HIL, sub-system and system test environments as well as develop test automation framework to be used for test vehicle functionality at different test level. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience of building up new test environments and test automation framework for verification and validation of SW and Control Systems. You will join an agile organisation, where team work, empowered self-organising teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

- Investigate and define what type of MIL, SIL, HIL, Sub-System test rigs and System test rigs to use for different SW & Control Systems in the vehicle
- Define and create an architecture for new test systems and test environments
- Configure and set up new test rigs, MIL, SIL, Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
- Develop test automation framework different SW & Control Systems in the vehicle
- Identify, develop and execute test cases as well as analyze results and write test reports
- Develop work processes and structures for test in different test environments

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Systems Control and Mechatronics or similar
- Experience of define and create test system architectures
- Experience of software testing at different test levels and test environments
- Experience of Matlab/Simulink, C/Python, Canoe, IPG CarMaker, NI TestStand or NI VeriStand
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle

Description

The Vehicle Motion Hardware Engineering Chapter is one of five competence teams within the Hardware Engineering Tribe. Areas we cover are Suspension, Steering, Brakes, Powertrain, Thermal Management and Climate Comfort. Our task is to provide NEVS present and future need for Hardware, Competence & Technology.

We work in a lean, agile organization where people with certain competences are either members of squads (smaller teams) with mutual responsibility, and/or act in a supporting role to these squads. To be successful you need to have an open mind, be solution oriented, a team player and able to adapt to change.

As an Engineer for Brakes, you will be a key player in developing our future products, either conventional braking systems or in-house developed brake-by-wire systems. You are expected to contribute with your competence and experience in most phases of our different projects, from concept selection to industrialization, in fulfilling requirements for performance, legal, timing and cost with the chosen solution.

It’s important for us that you value a great atmosphere while working together to achieve something extra ordinary.

 

Work tasks

- Aid in Concept selection at vehicle architecture and system level.
- Contributing in setting requirements on component level.
- System integration into vehicle.
- Planning of validation and verification using (and refining) methods and procedures.
- Manage quality tools and following up during development and industrialization.
- Lead and/or support technical communication and project management, both internally and externally.
- Secure manufacturability and serviceability.

  

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of engineering experience working with braking systems and their integration into vehicles.
- Solid skills in working with PLM Systems, Change Management and Teamcenter.
- Knowledge of requirement fulfillment on system as well as component level.
- Deep understanding of the process collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, NVH, Cost, Validation & Verification etc. during vehicle development.
- Comfortable with supplier interaction and what it takes to achieve set targets. Experience from working with international suppliers (China especially) is considered beneficial.
- Fundamental understanding of Mechanical Design, skills in CAD Design (NX) is not needed but considered beneficial.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

Description

Work tasks

- 3D Modeling and creation of GD&T in NX, following NEVS Methods and Standards.
- Contributing in setting design requirements on component level.
- Interaction with CAE and NVH in the development process.
- Support in the development of prototype parts and the work to produce them.
- Collaborate with mechanical integration for vehicle implementation.
- Create a dialogue with Manufacturing Engineering to secure manufacturability.
- Design optimization with the help of cost estimation for serial production.

 

Education and Experience

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Engineering experience working with component design and it’s manufacturability in either plastics (injection molding or blow molding), aluminum (high pressure die casting) or steel (stamping and protective methods) is considered beneficial.
- Knowledge of assembly sequences.
- Basic understanding of requirements setting on component level for manufacturing.
- Understanding of/Experience from Suspension, Steering, Brakes, Propulsion, Powertrain Integration, Thermal Management or HVAC work is considered an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Mandarin Chinese desirable.

Description

The Commercial Planning & Market Intelligence department is responsible for iterating and translating our business needs into requirements and keep track of what´s going on out there. We are also the customer’s voice when defining future products and services.

 

As a Creative Business Designer you will:

- Lead the analysis of business intelligence data and create both tactical and strategic recommendations to help design innovative product, service and business solutions.
- Be an integral part of our team looking into transportation patterns for the purpose of identifying, investigating and inventing future mobility service solutions.
- Model and evaluate complex vehicular-mobile systems, market dynamics, product segments, service offerings, disruptive changes and societal trends within mobility.
- Develop user scenarios in order to forecast and define business volumes and value.
- Collaborate on multiple agile projects with peers from marketing, sales, product developers, finance and UX/UI.
- Apply new modeling techniques and tackle unexplored questions that lie ahead.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has;

- Sc. in Engineering, Data Science, User Experience, Product/Service Design or related fields
